Thank you to GA Tech SBE & Six Flags for the incredible behind-the-scenes tour of rollercoasters and engineering! We’re honored to have been invited for the second year in a row!
This year’s Explore Engineering at Six Flags event was a thrilling success, bringing together students, families, and mentors for a unique and engaging blend of education and fun. In partnership with Georgia Tech’s Society of Black Engineers (SBE) and supported by Six Flags Over Georgia, the day gave JJSJF student members an exciting opportunity to explore real-world applications of science, technology, engineering, arts, math, and medicine (STEAMM) as part of our Saturday Enrichment Academy.
From discovering the physics behind rollercoaster design to interacting with engineers who keep the rides running smoothly, students gained firsthand insights into engineering careers—while also enjoying the thrills of the park.
We’re deeply grateful to our community partners and the families whose support made this memorable day possible. Events like this highlight the power of exposure, representation, and hands-on learning. Thank you for helping us inspire the next generation of innovators and changemakers!
