The National Society of Black Engineers Annual Convention (March 18–22, 2026) is one of the largest gatherings of aspiring engineers, STEM professionals, corporate leaders, and students in the world. Each year, thousands come together for an immersive experience focused on innovation, leadership development, career advancement, and excellence in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

We are excited to share that our youth from the JJSJ Foundation (JJSJF) will not only be attending — they will be actively participating in this year’s convention.

Participation means engagement. Our students will be connecting with recruiters, attending leadership and technical sessions, engaging in professional development workshops, exploring internship and scholarship opportunities, and immersing themselves in an environment where high achievement in STEM is the standard.

The convention’s career fair features major corporations and industry leaders from across the country. Workshops and sessions provide insight into emerging technologies, career pathways, and leadership strategies. For our youth, this is more than exposure — it is preparation. It is stepping into professional spaces early, learning how to network with confidence, and understanding how to position themselves for long-term success.

We believe that participation changes perspective. When our students walk through convention halls filled with innovators, engineers, and executives who reflect their own potential, it expands what they believe is possible. It transforms ambition into strategy.

We invite our families and community members to explore more about this impactful event by visiting the official page:

As we look ahead, we are committed to creating pathways for even more students to participate in national STEM conferences and leadership experiences like this. These moments matter. They shape confidence, clarity, and career direction.

If parents, students (NSBE Jr members or non-members), or community supporters are interested in learning more about this or future opportunities, we encourage you to reach out.
