Last month, at the Georgia State Capitol, the John & JeJuan Stewart Jr. Foundation participated in the 3rd Annual TECH Demo Day, hosted by Dar’shun Kendrick.
The event highlighted students and educators from Shiloh High School, recognizing their work in technology, innovation, and leadership. It was an opportunity to see firsthand how students are already contributing to the future of Georgia’s workforce.
Through the John & JeJuan Stewart Jr. Foundation and the Saturday Enrichment Academy (SEA), the focus remains on creating pathways for youth leadership development and STEAMM exposure—giving students opportunities to explore technology, build confidence, and see themselves as innovators and problem-solvers.
Appreciation goes to Representative Kendrick, her staff—including Jai P. Tazel—and the presenters and organizations who made the event possible.
Events like TECH Demo Day continue to show the value of investing in young people and providing space for them to engage with community leaders and policymakers.
The work continues, with a focus on expanding opportunities for students across Georgia.
