The John and JeJuan Stewart, Jr. Foundation is proud to introduce Technology/Engineering concepts and themes to middle and high school age students in the Gwinnett County School cluster area. We are working with the National Society of Black Engineers to bring the NSBE Jr. Programs to local students.

Program Goals

  • Introduce and expose students to relevant industry and career options.
  • Provide an environment for peer relationship building and collaboration on select projects.
  • Where possible, sponsor competitive teams (Math, Robotics, Animation, Academic) to participate in local and national events, sponsored by NSBE and other organizations

Our foundation will facilitate mentoring opportunities and relationships between students and technology/engineering professionals, including members of the adult NSBE chapters, college students and NSBE Collegiate chapters. We will also work within our structure to provide college preparatory advice and counseling for college bound students.
