The heart of what we do is the Saturday Enrichment Academy, which houses our POLI – Power of One Leadership Initiative & GNSBE JR – Gwinnett National Society of Black Engineers. SEA is an engaging and supportive learning space designed to open doors for students. Here, young people gain more than academic support — they build skills, confidence, and a sense of purpose that lasts a lifetime.

Within the Academy, students participate in our POLI program, which focuses on turning good intentions into action. Students develop leadership skills grounded in empathy and service, preparing them to be thoughtful, community-minded leaders in school and beyond.

We believe students should not only dream about their future but see it up close. Through our iSEE (Steamm Exposure Experiences) program, students connect with professionals and gain real-world insight into the fields they care about. Our STEAMM initiative — Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Medicine, and Math — provides engaging activities and learning experiences that help students discover, explore, and pursue their passions with confidence.

FLL-Discover, FLL-Challenge, FTC, FRC teams provide opportunities for for students from 2nd -12th grades to explore coding, robotics, and more!

Our programs thrive thanks to strong partnerships and vibrant memberships in trusted organizations, including our JJSJF/Gwinnett Chapter of NSBE Jr. (National Society of Black Engineers Jr.), FIRST robotics, the Red Cross, Chad Livsey Project, Alex’s Lemonade Stand, and JJSJF/ TED-Ed Student Talks Club.

Participation in JJSJF programs often counts toward community service hours, giving students a head start in building impressive resumes for college applications and future careers — while also making a real difference in their communities today.
