“Parents want their children to thrive not just survive.” – Search Institute
This program combines personal and leadership development for our next generation of youth activist. Meeting every other Saturday from 9A-12N students participate in activities and experiences to empower them as leaders. Every student is a member of our NSBE JR Chapter and the JJSJF TED ED Student Talks Club.
Families are encouraged to volunteer with our community service projects.
It is important for our students to be given opportunities to learn about careers and educational options available for them. Through the Saturday Enrichment Academy students are encouraged to participate in iSEE to find out about requirements for careers in an area of interest. They connect with professionals in areas of interest who look like them.
This After-School Enrichment Support program meets monthly at partner schools from 4:30PM to 6:00PM, facilitating access to service-learning, personal character development, and academic support.
Service-Learner 2 Servant-Leader is our process of empowering students as leaders with empathy. Building their social emotional skills will making a difference in their communities. We partner with STEAMM focused organizations like Red Cross, Chad Livsey Project and Alex’s Lemonade Stand and others. Students earn community service hours as they learn about civic and culture engagement.
