Having had the privilege of volunteering with JeJuan Stewart and the John and JeJuan Stewart, Jr. Foundation for almost three years, I have witnessed firsthand the positive impact this organization has on the lives of young people. As a coach, chaperone, and mentor, I have been inspired by the foundation's unwavering dedication to providing transformative opportunities for students.

Through their involvement in events like the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), the foundation opens doors for students to engage in meaningful educational experiences that often go beyond the classroom. I was first attracted to the John and JeJuan Stewart Jr  Foundation because of their track record of providing opportunities in STEM for students in a way that makes a difference in their academic and career paths. It’s an organization that listens to its parents and students and connects them to experiences that are not only high quality, but engaging as well.  My 13-year-old son has been engaged in robotics, career exploration, STEM conferences, mentorship,   leadership skill building,  and enjoying learning and growing with students of all ages. I joined the Stewart foundation as a robotics coach through Morehouse College and it is amazing to be apart of a foundation that focuses on empowering the lives of our youth through STEM and many other ways. Ms. Stewart (the executive director) doesn’t do all this for accolades and titles but because she has a love for youth and loves to see to them flourish.
